IN FLAMES Bassist Says European Headlining Tour Was 'Great'
April 23, 2006IN FLAMES bassist Peter Iwers has posted the following message on the band's official web site:
"I am at home again and as I'm writing this I'm in my garden, having a coffee and just chilling! The European part of the tour was GREAT. Never in the whole world did I expect such a great turnout. All the people we met and made friends with or just had a chat with made everything totally worthwile. Coming to Slovenia and Poland for the first time was amazing, and it's definitely not the last time. We will be coming around more. To CRUCIFIED BARBARA, DAGOBA and SEPULTURA I'd like to extend my warmest gratitude for being such great bands and cool people to hang with. I had a blast with you guys. I really hope we'll have the priviliege to play with you again soon."
IN FLAMES' upcoming North American headlining tour in support of their "Come Clarity" CD will also feature THROWDOWN, NEVERMORE and EVERGREY. Additionally, IN FLAMES will launch a U.S. commercial radio campaign — the first in the band's storied history — in late April. The radio blitz will initially focus on the "Come Clarity" roll-out track, "Take This Life", with a second single from the album to follow.
"Come Clarity" has sold 71,000 copies in the United States since its February 7 release, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
